Melbourne: Tamil Nadu is suffering due to cyclone Migjaum and heavy rains. Chennai city is under flood. Austrian opener David Warner has come to say that he is with the Tamil people in this context.
In an Instagram post, Warner said, “I am worried about the floods that are affecting many parts of Chennai. I am with everyone involved in this natural disaster.
It is important that everyone stays safe. Seek higher ground if necessary. If you are in a position to help, support relief efforts. Help can be offered to those who need it. Let’s stick together.” He wrote on his Instagram.

Meanwhile, the heavy rains in Chennai following Cyclone Migjam have eased slightly. As the rain subsided, metro services resumed in the city. Chennai airport may open today itself.
The death toll in Chennai city due to accidents due to heavy rains has risen to eight. One woman and seven men died, the government said.
