A comment in Wayanad saying that fate would adopt an orphaned child went viral in a big way. That comment came from a social media account named Devi. The full text of the note shared by Devi Nair on Facebook:

I have not been able to become a mother of a child in this life. So far, doctors have not identified whether there is a defect or any problem with it. While standing in front of God with folded hands, God did not hesitate to fulfill the eighteen year prayer of a woman who could not become a mother. Changed that desire and started living. But he tried to row the canoe of life with a hero, even when he often felt the isolation well. But when I see such tragedies, I get a feeling that someday I will be alone.
Seeing the problems of Wayanad, my mind is burning up.Many couples are asking us if they want to raise a child.
Adoption is a lot of legal hoops. I was born in the cradle of my mother in Thiruvananthapuram in 2017. They told me a lot of rules. I am not a big land owner. I have a single storey house on a five cent plot of land. My father’s total earnings. It was gifted to me by my father and I am running a job consultancy as my livelihood. Then he is working in a company in Thrissur. I live without hunger (no debt of a single rupee)
When the Wayanad problem came, the best I could do was to send a small amount to the relief fund. I know I can’t do anything more than that. But if I manage to raise a baby, tomorrow after my father’s and mother’s death, I will have a baby together. If not, I don’t know what will happen. I have heard many mothers say that if we have a baby, we can forget everything with that innocent smile. I am ready to be such a mother.
If any human being reading this can help me, this will be the merit you will get in this life. Each of you can see the picture of a lonely woman and an orphaned child living happily on this earth.
NB: All the members of the house were asked. They all agree.
