Though not very active on social media, couple Prithviraj Sukumaran and Supriya Menon’s daughter Alankritha is a favourite star kid of the audience. The couple rarely showcases their daughter on social media and is nurturing her in a different manner. Supriya had earlier revealed her daughter’s interest in books.
Meanwhile, Prithviraj during the promotion of his upcoming film ‘Jana Gana Mana’, revealed that he has not shown his daughter any of his films. He said, “My daughter has never seen a movie of mine. The reason being that I and Supriya want to progressively introduce the content my daughter sees. At the moment, Ally hardly watches television. For the past two years, school classes were in front of the computer screen and we have paused access to it now. Not only that, but now she is a little more interested in books. Maybe that will change too. So we wish her to be introduced to the content progressively.”
“Kids may not be able to understand some of the movies. The movie Jana Gana Mana itself is not fully understood by a six or seven year old child. Or we may have to sit down with them and explain the film which is not required for the time being, we believe. Let the time come for her to understand herself,” he continued.
Prithviraj adds, “We recently watched the movie Ice-Age together. Ally often asks me why my films are not shown to her. When she was told that it should not be seen by children, Ally made a demand, to make a film that children could watch.” Prithviraj said that he now has a desire to make a film for children.
