There are two Malayalam movies with the same story in the pipeline. Kuruvachan starring Suresh Gopi and Kaduva starring Prithviraj. Both the films are screenplays based on the life of a real person.
The film is based on the story of a planter from Kuruvinakunnel Kuruvachan. Recently, the High Court had issued a verdict banning a movie starring Suresh Gopi. Currently, Prithviraj’s Tiger is the only official film to be made.
Tiger is a Prithviraj film written by Jinu Abraham and directed by Shaji Kailas. The other is the Suresh Gopi film written by Shibin Francis and directed by newcomer Mathew Thomas. But now Suresh Gopi’s movie is in a state where it can not be used for anything.
Meanwhile, Georgie, a native of Pala, comes forward with serious allegations. Jordi has been active in Malayalam cinema for the last 13 years. Jordi played the role of Asif Ali’s son – in – law in the recently released movie Kettol, starring Asif Ali.
It was Jordy who introduced Jinu to the character of Kuruvachan. They met when they went to Kuruvachan’s house to turn the location of a movie. Although the house is not suitable for cinema, Jinu Abraham liked Kuruvachan’s life story.
Jordi now says that Jinu Abraham himself phoned him several times later to find out his life story and to get more information about the other characters in the story.
At the time, Jordy had promised Jinu Abraham that he would only go into filming after the screenplay was completed and permission was obtained from him.
But Jordy now alleges that this was not complied with and that he only knew this information when the film was officially announced via Facebook.
It was initially rumored that the script was to be directed by Jinu Abraham himself. Films including Adam John were directed by Jinu Abraham.
But it was only later, when the announcement was made, that he realized that the director was Shaji Kailas.
