The actor is now talking about this in an interview given to a media. The actor says that similar harassment is also happening in the Tamil TV show industry and many women have committed suicide due to sexual harassment. The actor asks that this job is just like doctors and IT jobs and then why only this sector is becoming a meat trade.
The actor adds that this is a big mistake and cannot be avoided. Directors and technicians are committing similar sexual assaults on women working in TV serials. They make demands on them very publicly. As these harassments could not be proven, many women did not even bother to file a complaint.
Some women are still enduring this. The actor also says that he feels that there will be no major progress in the investigation into the allegations of sexual harassment in the Tamil film industry.
Meanwhile, actor and Thrissur MP Suresh Gopi asked where is the evidence on these issues. The actor says that he had read this and how can he prove it and what proof can he give other than lying tests like CBI does. Padmini says that she was sexually harassed as a child actor and was kicked out of Bollywood when her mother raised the issue.
