The Indian Institute of Science (IISC) Bangalore, has invited applications from candidates for its Summer Fellowship programme. The one month programme will take place during the ‘June – July’ period. Participants can work with the faculty members of IISC as well as engage in research activities, as part of the programme. The notification is meant only for SC/ST candidates, who are studying at the first year in M.Sc programmes. Third year students of B.E/B.Tech programmes, too are eligible for applying.
Participants will receive a fellowship of INR 5,000 and a book grant of INR 1,500, as part of the fellowship programme. Candidates will also receive travelling allowance equivalent to 2nd Class sleeper train fare. Applicants are required to be submitted online at, www.iisc.ac.in. Last date to receive applications, is April 25.
