Malayalees have a special love for actor Manikandan Achari. An interview of the star is now going viral. Manikandan says in a special interview to Manorama that among the films I have done since 2023, I have received the most phone calls after the release of Bharamayug. 'I thought my character was only seen as a tool to start telling the story because I had less screen time. But when I heard what people were saying, I realized that my character has more relevance' says the actor in an interview to Manorama.

I have more screen time in Valiban. But the film received mixed reviews. Some like it, some like it, mixed reviews. All that affected my character as well. Even before the release of the movie, the negative reviews started. That's why my character has not been discussed at all, which is very sad. Both the films released this year are my favorite films. Valiban was shot in Rajasthan. Watching Laleton and Lijo sir and watching them work was like a child who had gone to a festival and was amazed by the sights. Manikandan also says that I remember how fast time has passed in the evening.

In the middle of the Valiban shoot, the hive shook and a bee stung him in the eye. He was writhing in pain, and one side of his eye was swollen and swollen. It changed after resting for two or three days. Everyone came and asked if it was okay. It was a time to understand the value of relationships. The care given by Lijo sir and Laletan really touched me. As an actor I am not happy at all. After Balan in Kammatipadam, he did not get such a challenging role. There are so many emotions that I want to act. I have not been able to express my love, sadness and anger in the film. It is a great pity that such complex characters cannot be played. Most of the films have a small character. I am happy to cast myself in all these films. There are many people who want to even show their face in the movie. I mean no thanks. I am looking for an acting role. Commercially, I get a lot of characters, I get money, everything. But I wonder why I am not getting good roles, says Mani Kandan.
