One of the most celebrated fake news during Lockdown was the news of Aamir Khan hiding money in wheat flour and distributing it to poor people. Now Aamir Khan himself has come up with an explanation for this.
“Friends, I have never invested money in wheat bags. Either this is completely fake, or Robin Hood who doesn’t want to reveal himself did that. Stay safe. Love. – Aamir Khan tweeted.”
Guys, I am not the person putting money in wheat bags. Its either a fake story completely, or Robin Hood doesn’t want to reveal himself!
Stay safe.
Love.

The source of this fake story was a Tik Tok video made by a young man named Zaman. Zaman’s Tik Tok video was accompanied by a video of him discovering money from wheat flour.
In the video, the young man says: “One man went to the slum in a truck at night in the area where Hindus and Muslims lives. He give one kilo of ‘Atta’ to everyone. Who would go for a kilo at night? It would be very difficult. When the people bought the ‘Atta’, they went home and looked in to it at the house. Those who deserve it the most deservedly got the right help. In the video this is what the young man says.
Leading fact-checking website Boom Live reported that Aamir Khan has not provided any such assistance.
