By introducing the OCR (Optical Character Recognition) Kiosk Machines in various stations, Indian Railways, intends to smoothen ticket printing operations. Well, The Kiosk Machines will deliver quick and easy printing of tickets, with the aid of UTS App. Western Railway has managed to become the first Railway zone in India to have the feature.
With the introduction of the Kiosk is concerned with, users will simply have to show the SMS they received in mobile phone. By reading the SMS, the Kiosk will generate the ticket, followed by printing it.
