The US company Sprinklr has filed an affidavit in the Kerala High Court claiming that it has destroyed all the information collected about Covid patients from Kerala. Earlier, the company had issued a petition seeking more clarification from the High Court interim order, produced on April 24th. The company wanted clarity on the status of backup data.

The company has also written a letter to the government in this regard. On 16th April, the government then responded by asking for data destruction. It was then that Sprinklr destroyed the information it had collected. In the meantime, the government transferred the information regarding Covid patients to the C-DIT’s Amazon server. The company was also been excluded from data analysis. It was on this situation that the company filed an affidavit in the High Court stating that the data was permanently destroyed.

Sprinker also informed that it would no longer be required considering the plea filed on the interim order. On the other hand, the government informed the High Court on Wednesday that hereafter, it would only be using the Sprinklr software on C-DIT server, which is owned by the government-owned. The government said it had full control over the data and data analysis and that it was not transferring data to Sprinklr; none of the company’s employees had access to the data.
