Instagram, reportedly is going to dissolve its Global Community Team. The team, which spreads across the world, will see their jobs being eliminated. However, the employees would be given an an option of joining other Instagram offices or that of Facebook. Incidentally, it was this Global Community Team, which bolstered the position of Instagram amongst the photography enthusiasts.
When contacted, officials from Instagram, commented that the move would convert Instagram into a single team. By means of integrating the Community group, Instagram is expecting to reach a wide outreach. The community group’s efforts take back into the days 2010s – even before which Facebook acquired the company in 2012.
