Micro blogging site Twitter has asked all of its users to change their passwords immediately. It was after which finding the presence of an internal bug, which Twitter has decided informing the user community about the issue. While informing the issue, Twitter maintained that the twitter passwords of users must be changed out of an ‘abundance of caution’. The company maintained that the password must be changed for even those third party apps.
According to Twitter, the bug was noticed during the hashing process; the company however has not revealed about the number of users, who are potentially under the risk category.
