IRCTC has rolled out an E – Wallet service, which now lets users book railway tickets including Tatkal. The new feature lets users deposit money to the E – Wallet, and ensures that booking process gets completed faster than before. Informing the news via its twitter page, IRCTC maintained that the E – Wallet facility would eliminate the payment approval cycle. However, if the booked train got cancelled from the source, the amount would be refunded to the wallet.
Along with the E – Wallet, IRCTC has also introduced the feature of cab booking to the app. The ‘Rain Connect App’ can be downloaded from Google Play Store.
