There were relatively small stars in this movie. The film was released alongside Dulquer Salmaan and Nivin Pauly's Kotha and Ramachandra Bose and Co. This was a movie that everyone thought would explode eight stories before its release. But it was Dulquer and Nivin Pauly's films that broke at 16 levels. RDX became one of the biggest hits in the history of Malayalam cinema.
