When costume director Stephy Xavier came up with some serious accusations against a top director, who is an active member of WCC, film buffs were looking for a name and here comes the answer. Associate director Aisha Sultana has revealed that the director, who didn’t pay Stephy for her work in the director’s movie, was Geethu Mohandas. Taking the social media spaces, Aisha Sultana said that she had firsthand knowledge about the active work done by Stephy for the movie ‘Moothon’. Aisha Sultana, who hails from Lakshadweep, said that it was Stephy, who had contacted her and inquired about the dresses worn by people in Lakshadweep.
When ‘Moothon’ was shooting in Lakshadweep, Aisha visited the team, only to find that Stephy was missing from the team. Aisha also maintained that it was her team, which made all the necessary arrangements for team ‘Moothon’. Aisha also added that she could never forget the hard work done by Stephy, and was saddened to see the injustice done by Geethu Mohandas to Stephy. She also made it clear that such acts from an organization – which was created for uplifting women artists in the industry – lost all the credibility. Aisha, however maintained that though she respects the director in Geethu Mohandas, she however isn’t afraid of Geethu either.
Earlier Stephy Xavier came up with allegations that the top director, who is an active member of WCC, sacked her from the director’s project, when she asked remuneration. She has also revealed that she had lost the respect for the director as well. Despite repeated queries from social media, Stephy didn’t reveal the name of the director.
