The Inter University Centre for Astronomy and Astrophysics (IUCAA) has invited applications for applying to its ‘Vacation Students Programme’ (VSP). The programme, which is held annually, is of 7 week duration. VSP 2018 would be taken place during May 14 – June 29. Those who get selected under VSP, would get a hands on working experience with IUCAA on various research projects. Candidates are required to be first year M.Sc or that of 3rd/4th Year Integrated M.Sc students. 3rd/4th Year B.Tech/B.E students too can apply for the scholarship.
During the training period, candidates would be provided free lodging on IUCAA campus. They will also be paid a stipend of INR 10,000, apart from a second class (Non A/C) return railway fare between place of residence/education and Pune.
