Jaguar Land Rover has announced two models in India – Discovery Sport and Range Rover Evoque SUV, both being powered by 2.0 liter Ingenium petrol engine. Priced at INR 49.20 Lakh Discovery Sport would have two trim options available – SE and HSE. On the other hand, the Range Rover Evoque would come with a starting price of INR 51.06 lakh.
The engine, which is mated to an 8 speed automatic transmission, is capable of delivering a peak power of 247 bhp; the peak torque figure, would touch 365 Nm. The 2.0 liter Ingenium petrol engine has already made its presence felt in Jaguar XE and XF sedans earlier this year. The case is of no different for Range Rover Evoque Convertible and Range Rover Velar as well.
