From the time of announcement, audience have been waiting for Jayasurya’s movie ‘Eesho’, directed by Nadirshah, which is all set to release on OTT platform. According to reports, SonyLiv has acquired the broadcasting rights for Jayasurya’s film for a hefty sum.
The teaser of Eesho was released earlier this month and it was well received by the audience. Eesho is a thriller film, unlike the usual comedy films of Nadirshah. The film is produced by Arun Narayan under his home productions.
The film also features Namitha Pramod, Johnny Antony, Suresh Krishna and Jaffar Idukki. Roby Varghese is the cinematographer while Nadirshah composes the songs and the original background score is composed and produced by Rahul Raj. NM Badusha and Binu Sebastian are the executive producers.
The film was briefly embroiled in controversy over its title which is the Malayalam name of Jesus. The Kerala High Court eventually dismissed the plea to stay the release of the film. The film was shot in Mundakkayam, Kuttikkanam, Peerumedu, Thiruvananthapuram, Ernakulam and Dubai.
