During the past 24 hours, a total of 28,498 fresh cases were reported in India. The country has also registered 553 new deaths during the last 24 hours. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 23,727 lives from India so far. The total number of Covid positive cases in India has gone past the 9 lakh mark. Till date, at total of 9,06,752 cases have been reported in India.
Ministry of Health informs that the active cases in India stands at 3,11,565, whereas a total of 5,71,460 got cured/discharged/migrated. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Delhi continue to lead India’s Corona chart. ICMR statistics show that India has tested a total of 1,20,92,503 samples till day, with country testing a 2,86,247 samples last day. Ministry of Health also reported that the recovery rate among Covid – 19 patients has increased to 63.02%.
