ICMR statistics suggested that India has marked its biggest daily positive case, with the country registering close to the 25K daily count. India has added 24,850 new covid cases during the past 24 hours. The country has also registered 610 deaths during the last 24 hours. This is also the biggest single day death toll that the country has marked till date. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 19,279 lives from India so far. The total number of Covid positive cases in India till date, stands at 6,73,904.
The total number of active cases in India stands at 2,45,542, whereas 4,09,083 have recovered from Covid 19. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Delhi continue to lead India’s Corona chart While Maharashtra has crossed the 2 lakh mark, Tamil Nadu did cross 1 lakh, whereas Delhi is inching towards crossing 1 lakh mark. ICMS statistics show that the country has managed to test 2,48,934 samples yesterday. The total samples tested by the country till date stands at 97,89,066 as of now.
