It was on last day that India marked its biggest daily positive case, with the country registering close to the 25K daily count. Today, the total number of cases stood shy of the previous day figure as India added 24,248 new covid cases during the past 24 hours. The country has also registered 425 deaths during the last 24 hours. With this, the pandemic has claimed a total of 19,693 lives from India so far. The total number of Covid positive cases in India till date, stands at 6,97,413.
The total number of active cases in India stands at 2,53,287, whereas 4,24,433 have recovered from Covid 19. Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Delhi continue to lead India’s Corona chart. With today’s figure, India has surpassed Russia in terms of the number of Covid patients. Right now, India is at number 3 position, with Brazil and the US standing at the top of an undesirable list.
