Kerala has added 54 new positive cases today. On the other hand, the number of negative cases has managed to outnumber positive cases after a while – 56. A total of 48 cases are for those who came from; of these, 23 are from overseas. 25 came from other states, while 6 got the disease through transmission (Thrissur – 2, Malappuram – 1). Apart from them, 3 health workers turned positive through transmission (Thiruvananthapuram – 1, Thrissur – 2).
With today’s report, the total number of cases in the state has risen to 2460. 1101 were treated, while the state has got 1340 active cases right now. The number of new Covid cases in the state, with the district wise break up is as follows,

A total of 2,42,767 people are under observation, out of which 2,40,744 are under home quarantine, while 2,023 are admitted to hospitals. Today, a total of 224 people are admitted to hospitals. 6 more hotspots are been added today, taking to the total tally to 122.
