The statistics released by ICMR show that India has added 13,586 new covid cases during the past 24 hours. With this, the country’s total Covid tally has risen to 3,80,532. With 336 more death tolls during the last 24 hours, the pandemic has claimed 12,573 lives from India. According to the latest figures, India has a total of 1,63,248 active cases, while 2,04,711 have recovered from Covid 19. With 1,20,504 reported cases and 5,751 death tolls, Maharashtra continues to be the most affected state in India. Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bengal and Madhya Pradesh too have suffered quite massively, with more than 10,000 Covid cases being reported.
As was informed by the ICMR, a total of 1,76,959 samples have been tested in the country during the last 24 hours. A total of 64,26,627 samples have been tested in the country so far. While several airline companies have resumed their international flights, India remains unavailable for their service, as the ban for International flights remain intact in the country.
