The statistics released by ICMR show that India has added 14,516 new covid cases during the past 24 hours. With this, the country’s total Covid tally has risen to 3,95,048. With 375 more death tolls during the last 24 hours, the pandemic has claimed 12,948 lives from India. According to the latest figures, India has a total of 1,68,269 active cases, while 2,13, 830 have recovered from Covid 19. With ICMR data suggest that the rate of recovery in India is rising and stands at 54.12%.
The cases in Maharashtra have gone past 1.25 Lakh figure, while the death toll stands at 5,893 and by far remains the most affected state in India. Tamil Nadu, Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, Bengal and Madhya Pradesh too have suffered quite massively, with more than 10,000 Covid cases being reported.
