June 27 Covid update: With 18,552 positive cases India marked the biggest daily toll

In the past 24 hours, 18,552 people have been diagnosed with coronavirus. With this, the number of confirmed cases of the pandemic in India has crossed 5 lakhs and reached 5,08,953. It also marked the highest single day positive figure that the country has witnessed till date. 384 people have died in the past 24 hours. The total death toll has reached 15,685. Right now, there are 1,97,387 active cases, whereas the recovered cases has reached 2,95,881.
Maharashtra continues to be India’s covid epicenter, with the number of patients reached 1,52,765. 7106 people have died in Maharashtra so far. A total of 77,240 cases were reported in Delhi, with death toll stands at 2492. In Tamil Nadu, 74,622 cases and 957 deaths were reported. Into Gujarat, 30095 cases have reported and 1771 people died.
