ICMR has reported that India marked 19,459 new covid cases during the past 24 hours. With 380 more death tolls during the last 24 hours, the pandemic, so far, has claimed 16,475 lives from India. The total number of Covid positive cases in India stands at 5,48,318. The total number of active cases in India stands at 2,10,120, whereas 3,21,723have recovered from Covid 19.
ICMS statistics show that the country has managed to test 83,98,362 samples so far. In the past 24 hours, India tested 1,70,560 samples. Maharashtra leads India’s Covid chart, and has 1,64,626 Covid patients in its account, while the death toll has crossed 7,429. With more than 80K patients, Delhi and Tamil Nadu trails Maharashtra.
