Today, the state received 107 new Covid cases. A total of 99 cases are for those who came from; of these, 71 are from overseas. 28 came from other states, while 8 got the disease through transmission. Kerala has recorded 41 negative cases today.
With today’s report, the total number of cases in the state has risen to 1898. 803 were treated, while the state has got 1095 active cases right now. The number of new Covid cases in the state, with the district wise break up is as follows,

Cases through transmission: Thrissur (3), Malappuram (2) and Palakkad (2), and Kollam (1) too recorded positive cases through transmission. Kerala has tested a total of 4,316 samples during the past 24 hours. New hotspots: 6 more were added today. The total number of active hotspots in the state has clocked 144. People who are under observation is in the state is 1,91,481. A total of 1,89,765 are under home quarantine, while 1716 are in government quarantine centers. Today, 277 new people were admitted to hospital.
