The Lucknow district administration has come under scrutiny after the house of bollywood singer Kanika Kapoor was not sealed even though she was COVID 19 positive. All of the other patients who have been confirmed by Covid19 have been declared a hotspot by sealing their homes. But it is alleged that Kanika’s building alone was not sealed.
Lucknow District Magistrate Abhishek Prakash said Kanika’s condition is completely curable and should not be considered a hotspot. On the 6th of April, Kanika Kapoor returned to her home at Shalimar Gallant Building in Mahanagar, Lucknow following her sixth test was negative.
The recommendation is to stay in the Quarantine for 14 days after discharging from the hospital. In Lucknow 29 people have contracted the corona disease till now and there are 12 hotspots in the district.
