Kerala’s Palakkad gave tearful adieu to CRPF jawan Mohammed Hakeem, who lost his life in an encounter with the Maoists in Chhattisgarh.
When his body was kept at the Dhoni Ummini School in Palakkad for a public homage, his wife Ramseena and daughter Afsin Fatima gave him a last salute. His mortal remains was laid to rest at the juma masjid with official honours.
Hakeem was the head constable with CRPF’s special operation unit COBRA (Commando Battalion for Resolute Action).
