Thiruvananthapuram: An online system has been introduced for passengers traveling inter district in the state. You can apply for the pass through the website pass.bsafe.kerala.gov.in. for obtaining the travel pass. Applicants will get a link to their registered mobile number. Clicking on the link will show you the pass & should produce the same to checking authority whenever asked.
State Police Chief Loknath Behra said the online system was introduced after it was noticed that the public had difficulty accessing the respective police stations to get a pass to travel to another district. Medical needs, post-mortems, visiting family after Lockdown, return of family members trapped in Lockdown, return to work, trapped students to return home, marriage of close relatives are only allowed use the inter district travel pass. Government employees and members of essential services are exempted from the pass. They need to show their identity cards if asked by the checking authority.
