Kerala LSS USS 2018 Scholarship Examination Notification about Registration, Exam pattern, exam portal, scholarship eligibility, syllabus, examination centers details given below. LSS 2018 Eligibility:

• Students from Govt/Aided/Govt. approved Un Aided schools & studying at 4th standard & secured a minimum of A grade for Malayalam, English, Maths, Parisara Padanam during the current academic year.
• Students able to score B Grade of any one of the subject mentioned above and secured A Grade or First Place in Sub district Arts, Sports, Pravarthi parichaya mela.
• There is no fee for the examination, Headmaster should register the students online before the last date.

USS 2018 Eligibility:

• Students from Govt/Aided/Govt. approved Un Aided schools & studying at 7th standard eligible for any one of the following criteria as per the Term 1 examination.
• A grade for all subjects (language & science) OR
• A grade for 3 papers and B grade for 1 paper in language subjects. OR
• A grade for 2 papers and B grade for 1 paper in science subjects.

LSS Exam 2018 Pattern:

There will be 2 papers of duration 1.5 hours each.

Paper 1:
Part (A) – First Language (Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil) – 20 score
Part (B) – English – 10 score
Part (C) – General Knowledge – 10 score

Total Score : 40

Paper 2:
Part (A) – Parisara Padanam – 20 score
Part (B) – Mathematics – 20 score

Total Score : 40

USS Exam 2018 Pattern:

There will be 2 papers of duration 1.5 hours each.

Paper 1:
Part (A) – First Language part 1 (AT Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil/Arabic/Urdu)
Part (B) – First Language part 2 (BT Malayalam, Kannada, Tamil)
Part (C) – Mathematics

Paper 2:
Part (A) – English
Part (B) – Basic Science
Part (C) – Social Science

LSS/USS 2018 Examination Centers:

There will be an examination center in every panchayath, if the number of candidates in a center exceeds 120, there is provision for another examination center in the same panachayath.

Passing LSS Scholarship/LSS scholarship eligibility:

To get the scholarship students should get score of 60% or above for both papers together. For SC/ST students if there is no students scored the stipulated mark, should select 1 student each from the category who scored the highest mark (they should get at least 50% score)

Passing USS Scholarship/USS scholarship eligibility:

To consider for the USS scholarship students should get 63 or more score out 90 (means 70% or more). A total of 20 students per sub district will be consider for the scholarship.

General – 15, OEC – 1, SC- 2, ST- 1, CWSN- 1

LSS/USS 2018 Revaluation:

For those who wish to apply for revaluation, they should register the application online within 7 days of the examination. After online registration, take a printout of the application form and submit the same along with a fee of Rs.100/- to the Sub district Education Officer.
