Kerala Police has released a new application to integrate their services. The app, which has been interestingly named, ‘POL – APP’, has been the name suggested to the department by social media corners. The news was informed by Kerala Police via its facebook page, and the latest app has been well received by the online world.

The facebook post further added that the name was suggested by Venjarammood native Srikanth. While Srikanth’s suggestion was ‘Pollapp’, Kerala police decided to modify it by separating the name into two equal parts, ‘POLL’ and ‘APP’. DGP Loknath Behra will give a memento to Srikanth. The app is all set to start functioning from June 10th onwards.
The app will feature several services such as Public Service Information, Security Directions, Notifications, Crime Reporting, FIR Download, Navigation to Police Station, Security Forces for Women and Children, Jamaithree Services, Cyber Awareness, Traffic Laws, Awareness Games, Telephone number and email addresses of important offices, Helpline numbers, Website links, Social Media feeders. In fact, it is comprehensive mobile app that features 27 services with which one could connect to the Kerala Police.
