State Police Chief Loknath Behra said that Station House Officers will issue passes from the respective police stations for permission to travel within the district and to other districts. A printout of the pass model provided on the police website and Facebook page should be taken and filled out and submitted to the Station House Officers to avail the inter-district pass. Application can be made by e-mail to the respective police stations.
The pass is valid from 7 am to 7 pm. Travel is strictly prohibited from 7 pm to 7 am the next day except for very essential medical needs. The DGP requested that those who get permission should travel within the social distance. District police chiefs have been directed to ensure that the system is properly implemented.
