Kerala on Thursday recorded 291 fresh cases of COVID-19, informed the health department. Ernakulam district recorded maximum cases with 73 followed by Thiruvananthapuram 52, Kottayam 36, Kozhikode 30, Thrissur 19, Kollam 16, Alappuzha 15, Pathanamthitta 13, Idukki 9, Kannur 9, Malappuram 9, Wayanad 6, Kasaragod 3 and Palakkad 2.
A total of 15,531 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.
One more death was reported taking the total toll to 68,264. Meanwhile, the state also reported 323 recoveries on Thursday.
There are a total of 2,398 active cases of COVID-19 in Kerala.
