State has registered one more Covid death case. A native of Chunakkara, Alappuzha, the death of Nazeer has taken the Covid death tally of the state to 34. His death was registered on this Sunday. Nazeer, who came from Saudi Arabia by the first week of July, was undertaking treatments for cancer. Though he succumbed to death in the early hours of Sunday, his samples were not tested.
However, the test results of the samples taken after death, received today, which confirmed the presence of Covid. Officials are preparing his contact list. Reportedly, he visited Kottayam Medical College, and the General Medicine of Alappuzha Medical College.
