Kerala on Friday reported new 418 cases of COVID-19. Ernakulam reported 95 cases followed by Thiruvananthapuram 81, Kottayam 44, Thrissur 34, Kozhikode 32, Pathanamthitta 29, Alappuzha 22, Kollam 18, Idukki 15, Malappuram 15, Kannur 13, Palakkad 10, Wayanad 8 and Kasaragod 2 cases. 15,864 samples were tested in the last 24 hours
A total of 79 deaths were reported, including 3 recently confirmed deaths and 76 deaths appealed on the new guidelines of the Central Government as per the Supreme Court judgment. This brings the total death toll in the state to 67,992.
Meanwhile, 454 people recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours. With this, 3051 people have been diagnosed with the disease and are still undergoing treatment.
