According to the statement given by the probe officer and woman SI Swathi to the magistrate, the CI and SI thrashed the army official and his brother. The officials beat up the brothers with cane, her statement said.
With this major revelation, the police claim of not torturing stands irrelevant.
According to victim’s statement, the police tortured them for hours and were remanded for 12 days. However, police denied such allegations and claimed that the brothers first unleashed attacks.
