Kochi blackmail case: Main accused Sharif gets gold scam

Police has caught the prime accused in the case of blackmailing actress Shamna Kasim – Sharif. A native of Palakkad, Sharif was arrested by the police in the early Saturday morning. Right now he is being questioned by the investigating team in Kochi.
Sharif, who absconded to Tamil Nadu, was arrested by the police while he was trying to surrender. Sharif is the head of the gang that has been involved in Shamna Kasim’s case. The gang is also part of several other cases, including extortion of money from other young women. Sharif is said to be the mastermind behind all the scams. He is the one who contacted Shamna Kasim.
The accused and the complainants have informed of sherif. It is also been informed that the fraudsters were involved not only in money laundering, but also in gold smuggling. There are also reports that a large number of young women were used for this purpose. The investigating team is expected to uncover many secrets as they interrogate Sharif.
