KPCC president K Sudhakaran said on Monday that former Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru made truce even with “communalist fascists.” Sudhakaran was speaking at an event organised by the Kannur DCC.
He said Nehru was willing for a compromise with communal fascism by making RSS leader Shyama Prasad Mukherjee a minister.
Sudhakaran said, ” There was no opposition leader in the parliament when Nehru was in power as no party had enough members. But Nehru made communist party leader AK Gopalan the Leader of Opposition.”
Two days ago, Sudhakaran had courted another controversy by stating that he arranged protection for RSS sakhas in Kannur from “CPM attack.”
