The pooja and shooting of the film ‘Ajayante Randam Moshanam’, in which Tovino Thomas will play a triple role for the first time, has started in Karakudi. The big budget film is being produced by UGM Productions and Magic Frames.

Jithin Lal, who previously assisted in superhit films like Ennu Ninte Moideen, Kunjiramayanam, Goda and Kalki, is making his directorial debut with Ajayante Randam Moshanam.

The film is being made in 3D on a pan-India scale in four languages. Sujith Nambiar is writing the story, screenplay and dialogue for the film, a periodical entertainer that travels through three eras. The titular characters — namely Maniyan, Ajayan and Kunjikelu — are all being played by Tovino.

Interestingly, the film also marks Krithi Shetty’s first film in Malayalam. Aishwarya Rajesh and Surabhi Lakshmi will also be playing pivotal roles. Other actors who will be seen in important roles in the film include Basil Joseph, Kishore, Harish Uttaman, Harish Peradi and Jagadish.

Deepu Nainan Thomas will be scoring the music for this film, which will feature a lot of Kalari sequences. Sources say that Tovino Thomas recently underwent training in Kalari for the film.

This is the first film in India to be shot on Arri Alexa Super35 camera.
Additional Screenplay: Deepu Pradeep, Cinematography by Jomon T John. Editor: Shameer Muhammed, Project Design: NM Badusha. Sreejith Ramachandran and Prince Paul are the co-producers.
