A KSRTC-SWIFT bus met with an accident after colliding with a divider in Malappuram. The accident took place at the end of the flyover above the underpass at Perinthalmanna Pattikkad Centre.
As many as 15 people were injured in the accident. The bus was going to Palani from Kollam.
The bus went out of control after hitting the divider and lamp post in the middle of the 6-lane road and stopped on the road towards Thrissur. The front glass, divider and lamp of the bus were completely broken in the accident. The driver escaped unhurt.
