The film ‘Ottu’ starring Kunchacko Boban and Arvind Swamy in lead roles was earlier slated to release on September 2, however it was postponed due to unforeseen circumstances.
The makers on Friday updated that ‘Ottu’ will be hitting big screens worldwide on September 8. Kunchacko Boban took to his social media and announced the final release date of the film.
He wrote, “BETRAYAL has never been so THRILLING.. This Onam , let’s celebrate with Kichu, David and their friends(or enemies ). #Ottu releasing worldwide on 8th September!”

The bilingual film titled ‘Ottu’ in Malayalam and ‘Rendagam’ in Tamil is bankrolled by actor Arya’s production house, The Show People and directed by Fellini TP of ‘Theevandi’ fame.
The film also has Arvind Swamy and Eesha Rebba, playing prominent roles. Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff is also making his comeback in Malayalam with ‘Ottu’.
