Kunchacko Boban is having a good time at Kerala box office, with the actor’s movies managing to break even, owing to the support from family audiences. Well, the actor has got some highly interesting projects this year, with his ‘Allu Ramendran’ heading towards releasing on February 1st. Directed by Bilahari, the movie is a promising project from the actor, and has managed to create a buzz in the social media when the first look hit the media. Now, what makes this box office outing of Kunchacko Boban an interesting one is that this time, he is going to face stiff competition from none other than Megastar Mammootty.
It is Megastar starring ‘Peranbu’ that is going to lock horns with this Kunchacko starrer. Owing to the huge buzz created from various national – international film screenings, this Ram directed Tamil project is sure to take a good opening in Kerala. While it is true that ‘Peranbu’ is not in line with traditional commercial outings from Megastar, the movie has managed to create a great anticipation amongst the movie buffs. So, February is all set to begin on a bang, while we have some exciting outings that will be followed soon in the second and third weeks of February, such as Prithviraj’s ‘9’ and yet another Megastar project ‘Yaatra’.
