Actor Kunchacko Boban on Wednesday unveiled the first look poster of his upcoming film, ‘Nna Thaan Case Kodu’ on his official social media pages. Along with STK Frames, Udaya Pictures, one of the most renowned film production companies in the history of Malayalam cinemas and Kunchacko Boban Productions, have teamed up for this film.
Both the production companies have joined together for the second production along with STK Frames. The film, with a tagline ‘Sue Me’, is written and directed by Ratheesh Balakrishnan Poduval, who earlier helmed ‘Android Kunjappan Version 5.25’. Gayathri Shanker was roped in as the female lead in the film.
Sharing the poster, Kunchacko Boban wrote, “Udaya Pictures & Kunchacko Boban Productions join hands for their second joint production for the movie “NNA THAAN CASE KODU” alongwith STK Frames. I was always excited when I heard the story from Rathish Poduval and was eagerly waiting for the shoot to commence.So after almost 60 days of shoot here I am not only as an Actor,but also as the Co-Producer of the movie. Welcoming Gayathri Shanker,who has done some memorable Tamil movies,to Malayalam industry and am sure that Devi will be one of your best characters. Along with Kunchacko Boban, Basil and Unnimaya will also feature in the film.
The shooting of the film was wrapped up in Kozhikode. The pre-production work lasted for six months. The film is set in a rural setting of Kasaragod and many artists were found through casting calls from these areas. Ten locations from five villages in Kasaragod were used for the shooting, which lasted for 60 days.
The film is set to release in theaters in the first week of July.
