Many hospitals were approached for Fatima’s treatment, but treatment was not possible due to various reasons. But when the demand was raised in the New Kerala assembly, the government ensured the complex surgery.
After surgery at Thrissur Medical College, Fatima is now recovering. Minister Veena George announced the success of baby Fatima’s surgery through social media.
