Kottayam Nazeer’s short film ‘Kuttichan’ has gone onto receive praises from across the film industry. Well, the social too has found the short film quite a good one. That said, director Dr. Biju has now come forward with criticizing Kottayam Nazeer for plagiarism. Taking social media corners, Dr. Biju maintained that ‘Kuttichan’ happened to be a copy cat of a particular segment from Sudev directorial ‘Akatho Puratho’.
Soon when Dr. Biju made these comments, director Sudev too has come forward and said that Kottayam Nazeer simply copied his directorial work, without introducing any creative elements. Pointing out that apart from the story of Sudev’s film, ‘Kuttichan’ bears the same camera angle and treatment of the former’s. However, Kottayam Nazeer has replied back that such critical comments were aimed at grabbing attention.
