Lexus has launched the hybrid car – LS500h in India for INR 1.8 Cr. A higher variant of the car comes at a price of INR 1.9 Cr. Powered by a 3.5 liter petrol engine, the engine is mated with a 10 speed automatic transmission. The petrol engine, which is a BS VI variant, comes with a 310.8V lithium ion battery. The vehicle is capable of reaching 0 – 100 kmph in a matter of 5.4 seconds. The luxury car has got a 23 speaker Mark Levinson Quantum Logic Immersion (QLI) sound system – delivering superior audio quality.
Entered the Indian market in March 2017, the Japanese company is also planning to go for locally assembling the cars.
