Chennai Police has seized liquor from actress Ramya Nambeesan’s car. It was from Muttukad, Chennai that police checked the car of the actress and found 8 liquor bottles and 2 cases of beer bottles. At the time of police check up, apart from Ramya and Ramya’s sister, there was the driver as well, who got arrested and released by the police.
Due to lockdown, liquor shops are not allowed to be opened in Chennai. However, surrounding districts have opened the shops. Ramya and co. were travelling from Mahabalipuram to Chennai.
