The guidelines issued by the Union Home Ministry have allowed exemption of sick areas outside the municipal boundary of the Red Zone. Zonal districts have been restructured to meet the central norms.
Wayanad district was scheduled to be included in the green zone yesterday afternoon. The Green Zone consists of Ernakulam, Alappuzha and Thrissur districts. Kannur and Kottayam in the red zone. The other 9 districts are in the Orange Zone.

In addition to hotspots, people may be able to get out at 7 am to 7:30 pm for urgent matters.
∙ Government offices should be in operation till May 15.

Continuing restrictions everywhere
. People over 65 and under 10 years, pregnant or sick, should not be released.
Masking in public and work places is mandatory.

Sunday Public Holiday
Sunday will be a full holiday. Do not open shops, offices or establishments. Do not release vehicles. The Chief Minister said that the decision was not to be taken as a whole and that this regulation would be strictly implemented from next Sunday.
No liquor stores are open
Under the direction of the central government, liquor stores can be opened on condition that they will not be opened in the state. Will be reviewed a week later.
