In a latest report, Tamil actor Dhanush has been summoned by the Madras High Court in connection with a paternity case. In 2017, a couple filed a case against the famous Tamil actor Dhanush claiming that he is their biological son and sought monthly maintenance from the star.
According to reports, Kathiresan and his wife Meenakshi alleged that actor Dhanush is their son. Dhanush had then submitted his paternity documents and denied all the allegations made by the couple. Taking this into consideration, the Madurai judicial magistrate VI court dismissed couple’s petition.
Now, the couple has moved the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court to quash the order by the judicial magistrate. Reports state that a notice has been issued against actor Dhanush in relation to this case by Madras High Court after Kathiresan’s plea was rejected by the Madurai High Court bench.
According to Kathiresan and Meenakshi, Dhanush is their third son, who left his hometown and went to Chennai to pursue his career in film industry. Reportedly, Dhanush has denied all the allegations made by the couple in court.
